The China Machinery Industry Federation revealed that the added value of China's machinery industry from January to August this year increased by about 16% year-on-year. Among the key product output of statistics, the growth rate of CNC metal cutting machine tools, machine tool CNC devices, etc. has remained above 40%, clean energy such as wind power, hydropower, and solar power ranks among the world's forefronts, industrial robots have grown by nearly 65%, and the domestic market for intelligent manufacturing equipment The satisfaction rate exceeds 50%. Under the situation of declining automobile production and sales, the production and sales of new energy vehicles increased by 1.9 times year-on-year, continuing to set new records. Intelligent connected vehicles maintained a good momentum on the basis of a 107% year-on-year growth in 2020.

The China Machinery Industry Federation said that it is expected that the sales of China's L2 and L3 intelligent networked vehicles will account for 50% of all vehicle sales in 2025. At the same time, a number of digital factories, smart workshops, as well as new digital business formats and new models continue to emerge. The digital economy is becoming a new engine leading the machinery industry to achieve high-quality development.

According to the China Machinery Industry Federation, at the same time, it should be clearly recognized that compared with developed countries, China's machinery industry still has problems such as weak industrial foundation and insufficient professional talents in its digital transformation.
