In the first quarter of 2022, Indonesia produced 2,113 sets of construction machinery, a year-on-year increase of 49.1%. Among them, the output of hydraulic excavators was 1,814 units, accounting for 85.8%.
Indonesian construction machinery is mainly sold to the mining and construction industries, with sales accounting for more than 35%. Since 2022, the improvement of Indonesia's coal business has increased the demand for construction machinery and equipment, and the development of the mining industry has benefited the sales of construction machinery and equipment.
Affected by the epidemic, Indonesia's construction machinery and equipment production has problems such as rising raw material prices and supply chain disruptions, resulting in a gap in the domestic equipment supply, which is conducive to China's construction machinery and equipment exports.
