2022-07-08

Recently, Cummins and Komatsu signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the development of zero-emission mining transportation equipment.

Cummins and Komatsu have a long history of cooperation in the field of diesel power for mining machinery and equipment. In the future, the two parties will focus on zero-emission power technology, including hydrogen fuel cell solutions for large mining rigid dump trucks.

In August 2021, Komatsu released a multi-power source concept truck that can use different power sources, including gasoline-electric hybrids, overhead applications, pure electric and hydrogen fuel cells. The cooperation between the two parties is an important part of the multi-power source concept truck.
