On September 7 and 8, 2022, the international trade fair PotatoEurope will take place in Bockerode near Hannover, Germany, with Grimm as the main exhibitor.
Instead of waiting until SIMA in a few months, the company chose the event to launch some new machines and further develop existing models.
Leading the charge is the new Select 200 two-row lift harvester. At the event, it will showcase its TurboSep separation unit, which it claims can remove straw more efficiently. The machine has a road transport width of less than 3 meters and is equipped with stepless hydraulic drive of all main webs and a new, unique automatic steering system.
The Evo 280 two-row trailed bunker harvester with three breakaways will feature a new 7.5t NonstopBunker, replacing the original 6.5t version.
New cover allows for higher overload height and width, as well as increased distance between harvester and transport trailer. For larger harvester models, Grimm will showcase the third-generation Varitron 470 four-row self-propelled harvester.
It comes with more powerful features with some automation, optional grain tank expansion, the award-winning SmartView video system and a CCI 1200 ISOBUS terminal.
The new machines include a four-row planter, the Prius 440, which is also less than 3m wide for road transport. The machine can be attached to a tractor via a drawbar to allow a variety of different soil tillage tools to be used in conjunction with the planter.
Enterprise will present a new storage loader, the SL 919, with a 90 cm wide and 19.5 m long conveyor belt, with a larger rotation width and a constant lower drop height.
