The sales data of construction machinery disclosed by China Construction Machinery Industry Association this month can also prove the relative prosperity in the field of transportation and engineering construction.

According to the import and export data, in September 2022, the sales of all kinds of excavators will be about 21200, with a year-on-year growth of about 5.5%. It has maintained a positive growth range for three consecutive months, and the cumulative decline of excavator sales in the year will also narrow from 36.1% in the first six months to 28.3%. In September 2022, the sales volume of various road rollers will be 1350, with a year-on-year growth of 6.72%.

In addition, according to the statistics of import and export data, in September 2022, the monthly sales of bulldozers used for earthwork increased by 41.7% year on year; The sales volume of crawler cranes used for material lifting increased by 38.9% year on year; The sales volume of lifting platform used for high-altitude operation increased by 17% year on year.

According to the import and export data, since late September, the commencement of infrastructure related projects has further improved significantly, and the confidence of downstream employees of construction machinery in the domestic sales of excavators in the fourth quarter has improved significantly.

By region, the "CCTV Financial Excavator Index" in September showed the characteristics of "leading in the west, driving in the middle and stabilizing in the east".

A number of data on infrastructure construction in the western region showed outstanding performance. Among them, from January to September, the average workload of four types of machinery and equipment in Inner Mongolia, including towing pump, front mounted crane, truck crane and excavator, increased year on year in a single month, and all of them ranked first in China. In Henan, Anhui and other provinces in central China, the average monthly workload and average monthly operating rate of various types of mechanical equipment also maintained a high growth.

The eastern region has stabilized collectively, and Guangdong and Zhejiang have performed well. Among them, the average monthly workload and average monthly operating rate of 11 types of equipment in Guangdong Province, such as excavators and truck cranes, increased or remained the same month on month in the third quarter compared with the second quarter. In Zhejiang, there were 8 categories of equipment that grew or remained flat month on month in the second quarter.
