2021-06-01

Malaysia announced a total blockade across the country from June 1 to 14. But during this period, only 17 basic service departments were allowed to operate. These include transportation (land, water, or air); port, shipyard, and airport services and operations (including loading, barge, cargo handling and storage, or commodity packaging); communications (media, telecommunications and the Internet, postal and express delivery, and Broadcasting for the purpose of information transmission), etc.

The country’s security minister stated that rubber plantations and commodity departments and their supply chains will also be allowed to operate, including trucks that transport rubber.

In addition, rubber gloves are allowed to operate with 60% of the labor capacity, and automobiles (vehicles and parts) are allowed to operate with 10% of the labor.
