Ministry of Commerce: Continue to impose anti-dumping duties on US-made polyamide-6,6 chips

On October 12, the Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement that starting from October 13, 2021, anti-dumping duties will continue to be levied on imported polyamide-6,6 chips originating in the United States for a period of 5 years.

The specific U.S. corporate tax rates are as follows: Ascend Functional Materials Co., Ltd. 31.4%, INVISTA Co., Ltd. 25.2%. 37.5% of other American companies.

In 2009, the Ministry of Commerce decided to impose anti-dumping duties on imported polyamide-6,6 chips originating in the United States, Italy, the United Kingdom, France and Taiwan. The anti-dumping duties were 25.2%-37.5% for American companies and 5.3% for Italian companies. -20.9%, British companies 20.9%, French companies 20.9%, and Taiwan companies 20.9%. The implementation period is 5 years from October 13, 2009.

On October 12, 2015, the Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement, deciding to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on imported polyamide-6,6 chips originating in the United States, Italy, France, and Taiwan from October 13, 2015. The implementation period is 5 years. The anti-dumping measures against imported polyamide-6,6 chips originating in the United Kingdom expired and ended.

On October 12, 2020, in response to the application of the polyamide-6,6 chip industry in mainland China, the Ministry of Commerce decided to apply anti-dumping to imported polyamide-6,6 chips originating in the United States from October 13, 2020 Measures to conduct a final review investigation. The anti-dumping measures against imports of polyamide-6,6 chips originating in Italy, France and Taiwan have expired.
