Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that Vietnam's rubber exports exceeded US $1 billion for the first time in 2006.

According to customs data, the export of rubber increased rapidly in 2010, with 760000 tons of rubber exported from Vietnam, and the export volume exceeded the US $2 billion mark for the first time, reaching US $2.3 billion. By 2011, the export volume reached 816500 tons, and the export volume soared to 3.2 billion dollars.

The average export price of Vietnam's rubber in 2022 was only 1547 US dollars/ton, down 7.8% from 2021.

Vietnam's rubber export volume ranks the third in the world, exporting to more than 80 countries and regions around the world.

From the perspective of rubber export market in 2022, customs data show that Vietnam's rubber is mainly exported to Asia, accounting for 90.6% of the country's total rubber exports, reaching 1.86 million tons, with an export value of nearly US $3 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 12.9% and 6.2% in quantity and value respectively.

According to customs data, China is still the largest export market of Vietnam's rubber, with an export volume of 1.5 million tons and an export value of 2.34 billion dollars; The quantity increased by 14% and the value increased by 6.3% year on year. Accounting for 79.8% of Vietnam's total rubber exports.

According to customs data, the second largest rubber export market is India, with an export volume of 123200 tons and an export value of 218 million dollars; The year-on-year growth in quantity and value was 8.8% and 4.5%, accounting for 6.6% of Vietnam's total rubber exports.
