On March 12, the China-Europe return train, loaded with 102 standard containers, successfully arrived at Zengcheng Railway Logistics Park, the East Rail Transit Hub of Guangzhou, bringing back 1275 tons of corrugated paper and other goods for the international trade import and export enterprises in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The successful arrival of the China-Europe return train marked the official two-way opening of the westward land logistics corridor of the East Rail Transit Hub of Guangzhou, and realized two-way opening and two-way trade.
It is reported that this train departs from central Europe and enters through the Alashankou port, spanning more than 10000 kilometers and lasting 17 days, and finally arrives at Zengcheng, Guangzhou. The subsequent China-EU return train will be opened in the Guangzhou Zengcheng Railway Logistics Park, opening up the two-way international trade and logistics channel of China-EU train, and further helping the eastern rail and highway hub of Guangzhou to build the international trade train hub in the Greater Bay Area.
As a major national construction project and one of the four national logistics hubs in Guangzhou, the eastern rail and highway intermodal transport hub in Guangzhou is located at the intersection of the Pearl River Delta Economic Belt and the Science and Technology Innovation Belt in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, at the top of the "Golden Inner Bay" 100 km around the mouth of the Pearl River. Since the first China Europe train to Germany in July 2021, 20 international logistics routes have been successfully operated, including China Europe, Central Asia, China Laos, and China Vietnam. At present, 5-7 China Europe trains are regularly operated every week One to two Sino-Laos international trade freight trains are the departure point of the most frequent international trade trains in the Greater Bay Area, and the integrated development pattern of "transportation+logistics+industry" has initially formed.
