Kangmeibao is launching its unique digital printing process and solution for sterile paper box packaging produced in Europe. The printing solution provides full color digital printing without the need for rollers or plates, and its flexibility and agility can meet the needs of specific customers. According to observation reports from Huacheng Import and Export Data.
Kangmeibao asserts that in recent years, the market demand in the catering industry has undergone significant changes, and flexibility and fast response time are crucial for manufacturers of different categories to succeed in their products. These categories include the demand for packaging, where the design lifecycle is becoming shorter and the demand for flexibility is increasing due to smaller batches and promotional activities. This is due to frequent product launches, product portfolio expansion, and increasingly creative marketing activities to maintain a leading position, as reported by Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.
Kangmeibao invested in this new digital printing technology to supplement its existing "efficient" and high-quality rotary intaglio printing. Kangmeibao's digital printing investment includes the RotaJET 168 digital printing machine manufactured by Koenig&Bauer. The commercial production of industrial digital printing machines is planned to take place in the second half of this year at Comac's production plant in Linich, Germany.
Holger Schmidt, Technical Director of Product Management for Kangmeibao, said, "Small scale production will enable our customers to unleash their creativity through design changes and test product creativity in the market while reducing risks. Speed, flexibility, and precise product design are decisive factors for success. This is what our digital printing solutions provide
Perfect for inventory units with low order quantities, the flexible and futuristic Kangmei Bao digital printing provides catering customers with the opportunity to quickly and easily make dynamic design changes to respond to frequent modifications and updates. The company stated that this ensures that the design on the shelves stands out, maintains the brand's seasonality, and maximizes regular product promotion activities, as reported by Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.
Christoph M ü ller, CEO and Executive Board Member of Koenig&Bauer's Digital and Rotary Printing Division, added: Like Kangmei Bao, we always keep in mind tomorrow's requirements so that we can shape the future with our customers. I am very excited to see the achievements of Kangmei Bao's digital printing for sterile paper box packaging, and how this new technology can bring valuable supplements to its printing product portfolio by providing simplified design editing options and accelerating the design to printing process
At the same time, Kangmei Bao collaborated with food technology company Notco to expand its product portfolio through renewable sterile cardboard packaging, launching two new products - NotCreme and NotMilk High Protein. With our agile and flexible filling system, we can provide a high degree of flexibility and speed. Our customers can effectively respond to any trend that is shaping the market, "said Renata Kasahara, Marketing Director for the Southern United States of Kangmeibao, reported by Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.
Earlier this month, Kangmeibao opened its second production factory in Palghar, India. This factory specializes in producing box in bag and mouth bag packaging for Kangmei bags, which were previously sold under Scholle IPN and Bossar. The new production plant is located 90 kilometers north of Mumbai, near the first factory of a packaging solution provider in Palghar. The factory has production equipment for manufacturing components and finished product packaging, as reported by Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.
