According to import and export data, the person in charge of the Chongqing Customs Tariff Department introduced that for goods imported through coastal ports through the river sea intermodal transportation method, enterprises can calculate inland waterway freight based on the freight levels of the Shanghai Chongqing route regularly announced by the Yangtze River Navigation Administration, and apply for tax deduction from the customs. The implementation of this measure can effectively reduce the operating costs of Chongqing enterprises, and it is expected to reduce taxes by over 20 million yuan for enterprises in the next 7 months of this year.
