The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) has entered into force for the second year. At present, it has entered into force for all 10 ASEAN countries and 15 member countries including Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand. Recently, Zhenjiang Customs released statistics on import and export data. The import and export data showed that 1240 Certificate of origin under RCEP had been issued in January May this year, up 115.7% year on year, with a value of about 480 million, helping enterprises reduce and exempt about 11 million tariffs from importing countries.

Jindong Paper Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.'s paper products are exported to Southeast Asia, South America, Europe and other regions. The relevant person in charge of the enterprise introduced that the company is expected to export about 50000 tons of Coated paper and thermal paper to Indonesia and Thailand this year. With the RCEP certificate, the tariff of the importing country will be directly reduced from 5% to zero. It is expected that the tariff will be reduced by about 28 million yuan a year, greatly reducing the cost of customs clearance abroad. This year's export sales of paper products have increased by 5000 tons compared to last year. Import and export data shows that with the full implementation of RCEP, orders are expected to increase by 10% next year. We are confident in further enhancing our international market share

Import and export data shows that in order to facilitate foreign trade enterprises to fully enjoy the benefits of RCEP policies, Zhenjiang Customs has sorted out enterprises with active trade with RCEP member countries, strengthened policy propaganda, and jointly organized RCEP special lectures with the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and the China Council for the Promotion of Trade to 100 foreign trade enterprises, guiding them to pay attention to and make good use of RCEP preferential policies. At the same time, in combination with online platforms such as "Enterprise Problem Clearing" and WeChat, targeted benefit guidance will be provided to help enterprises solve difficulties in a timely manner, guiding them to fully enjoy tariff preferences through the most favorable free trade agreements; Promote the expansion of the application of the "smart audit+self-service printing" mode, and achieve self-service printing for more than 90% of Certificate of origin, facilitating the continuous improvement of enterprise service level.

Xu Jing, Chief of the First Section of Special Area Management of Zhenjiang Customs, introduced that the number of RCEP Certificate of origin visas currently ranks second among various preferential Certificate of origin issued by Zhenjiang Customs, only second to the number of Certificate of origin visas under the China ASEAN Free Trade Agreement. According to the import and export data, "after the RCEP officially came into force for the Philippines on June 2, the development space of regional economic and trade cooperation expanded.
