SCA said it will increase the price of its white and brown kraft paper by 50 Euros/ton in Europe. The new price will be effective from June 1, 2021.
"The global demand for kraft paper is still high." Mikael Frölander, vice president of sales and marketing containerboard, said, "The delivery of kraft paper is increasing, but production capacity is limited, and the increase in raw material costs has also led to price increases."
SCA is composed of five business units: forests, wood, pulp, paper, renewable energy, and procurement and logistics.
SCA's forest business manages SCA's forest assets-2.6 million hectares of forest land in northern Sweden, and 50,000 hectares of forest land in Estonia and Latvia.
