Since June, the overall price of the paper industry has declined slowly, but some paper grades have remained firm. Nine Dragons major bases, Lee & Man, Sun and other leading companies have issued price increase letters, and other small and medium-sized paper mills have followed suit.

Benefited by the 618 shopping carnival, some paper mills in the north have raised their paper prices with a fluctuation range of 50-100 yuan/ton.

The price increase letter of the northern part of the base paper:

From June 9, 2021, it will increase by RMB 50/ton based on the current sales price.

Shahe Jinxin Paper Co., Ltd.

From June 9, 2021, all high-strength corrugated paper products will increase by 50 yuan per ton.

Yutian County Shunfa Industrial Co., Ltd.

Starting from June 8, 2021, the finished paper of all weights and items will increase by RMB 100 per ton.

China Metallurgical Paper Galaxy Co., Ltd.

From June 8, 2021, the price of high-strength corrugated paper products will be raised by 50 yuan/ton on the basis of the original price.

Shanxi Hengyue Paper Co., Ltd.

From June 8, 2021, it will increase by 50 yuan/ton based on the current price.

Shandong Shouguang Luli Paper Co., Ltd.

From June 7, 2021, the price of all products will increase by RMB 50/ton.

Baixiang County Huaxing Paper Packaging Co., Ltd.

From 8 o'clock in the morning on June 7, 2021, on the current basis, the container board and high-wattage will increase by 50 yuan/ton (including prepayment and received orders).

Baixiang County Jinbaoshi New Material Development Co., Ltd.

Starting at 8 o'clock in the morning on June 7, 2021, an increase of RMB 50/ton (including advance payments and orders received) will be made on the basis of the current sales prices of high-watts and container boards.

Faced with the 618 shopping spree and the Dragon Boat Festival’s pull on market demand, Nine Dragons is also ready to continue to increase prices after the festival. On the 9th, Dongguan Nine Dragons issued a price increase letter: starting on the 16th, Nine Dragons Cattle Dragon Cards will be increased by 100/ton based on the original price, Hailong cattle cards, all recycled cattle cards will be increased by 50/ton based on the original prices, and all corrugated paper will be increased by 50/ton based on the original prices.

The price increase is mainly concentrated in boxboard and corrugated paper. The current supply and demand are in balance, and the early rising atmosphere is still continuing. Paper mills are also actively raising prices. However, because downstream carton factories mainly purchase on demand and rarely stock goods, the price increase is not tall.

In terms of packaging paper, in addition to the previously mentioned boxboard and corrugated board, the prices of gray-bottomed whiteboard and white cardboard continued to fall.

The demand for white cardboard continues to be sluggish, pressure on supply and demand still exists, and the pressure on paper mill inventories is relatively high. Because the previous upside down was serious, dealers have cut prices to sell. At present, the price of white cardboard has generally been lowered from 10000+ for 3 white copies to the current 7800-8000 yuan/ton.
