Last week, Guangdong Lee & Man and Dongguan Jinzhou also announced that they would shut down some containerboard machines for renovation from September, and it is expected that a total of 300,000 tons of containerboard paper will be reduced.

Dongguan Jinzhou plans to upgrade the three containerboard machines PM 4, PM 5 and PM 6 from September 24 to October 17. According to the design capacity of the three paper machines, the shutdown is expected to reduce production by more than 40,000 tons according to the calculation of the shutdown for 24 days. Guangdong Lee & Man's PM 7 and PM 9 will be shut down from September 9 to December 31, and it is expected to reduce the production of containerboard paper by approximately 260,000 tons.

On September 15th, Dongguan Nine Dragons announced the National Day shutdown plan. The plant's 7 paper machines will be shut down for 8 days from October 1-8. According to the calculation of production capacity, a total of 61,200 tons of paper and cardboard will be reduced.

Among the paper machines that are down are fine paper machine PM 28, gray-bottom whiteboard paper machine PM 4 and PM 11, cow paper machine PM 1 and PM 19, corrugated paper machine PM 18, and white-face cow card and coated cow paper machine PM 3. Calculated by paper type, cultural paper and whiteboard will be reduced by approximately 5,900 tons and 22,400 tons respectively, and the total production of boxboard corrugated paper will be reduced by 32,900 tons.

Along with the shutdown information, the five major bases of Nine Dragons Paper announced that during the delivery period from the morning of September 15 to 24:00 in the evening of September 23, the prices of base paper of multiple paper grades are generally discounted by 50-150 yuan/ton, Chongqing Jiu The price of Long is currently stable.

①Dongguan Nine Dragons: White-faced cow cardboard, coated cow cardboard, cow cardboard, recycled cow cardboard, and corrugated paper have a discount of 100 yuan/ton. The price of Nine Dragons whiteboard, Hailong whiteboard, and Dilong whiteboard are discounted by 100 yuan/ton, and Jianglong brand whiteboard is discounted by 150 yuan/ton.

②Quanzhou Nine Dragons: The price of Dilong Cattle Card is 100 yuan/ton, and the price of Nine Dragons Cattle Card, Dilong Recycled Cattle Card, and corrugated paper is 50 yuan/ton.

③Shenyang Nine Dragons: Dilong Cattle Card and Dilong Recycled Cattle Card are discounted at RMB 50/ton, and high-strength corrugated paper is discounted at RMB 50/ton.

④Taicang Nine Dragons: A discount of 50-100 yuan/ton for cattle cardboard, and a discount of 100 yuan/ton for recycled cattle cardboard, corrugated paper, and whiteboard.

⑤Tianjin Nine Dragons: Coated cattle card, cattle card, recycled cattle card, white paper, corrugated paper, discount of 50 yuan/ton, white flour cattle card discount of 100 yuan/ton.

⑥Chongqing Nine Dragons: The price is stable.

Recently, the corrugated cardboard market has been sluggish, and paper mills have poor shipments. Considering that downstream goods will be slowed down during the National Day, the shutdown of the paper mills during the National Day will play a certain role in alleviating the inventory of the paper mills.
