On June 7, Irish packaging company Zeus announced the acquisition of two British packaging companies, Swanline Group and its sister company boxmart, with a combined revenue of more than 30 million euros and an agreement value of more than 25 million euros.
Zeus said the deal is a very important investment for the company and will strengthen its position in retail, food and beverage and e-commerce packaging when completed.
Specialist packaging company Swanline Group is the UK's leading trade provider of paper materials, printing and converting services, serving the packaging and point-of-sale sectors. Founded in 2001, the Swanline Group is headquartered in Stone, Staffordshire, and employs more than 150 people.
Boxmart is a packaging supplier, also based in Shenstone, Staffordshire, offering UK-made gift, retail and e-commerce packaging.
