Italian paper manufacturer Fedrigoni has announced the acquisition of Unifol, Turkey's only producer of PVC self-adhesives, developing innovative, durable and long-lasting PVC films for 3D applications on large surfaces.
The acquisition of Unifol is an integral part of Fedrigoni's strategy to continuously diversify its product range into adjacent fields, expand its global presence and strengthen its position as a new player in the automotive PVC cladding film market. Building on recent acquisitions, the company is now a major global player in the production of high value-added specialty papers for luxury packaging and other creative applications, and a market leader in premium labels and self-adhesive materials.
Commenting on the deal, Fedrigoni Group CEO Marco Nespolo said: "This acquisition will make our offer even more attractive and continue our strategy of expanding into promising segments close to the areas we have already entered. market, just as we entered the smart label space with the acquisition of the French company Tageos.”

Fedrigoni employs more than 4,500 people in 27 countries and operates 48 facilities, including production plants, cutting centers and distribution centers. The group sells and distributes 25,000 products in 132 countries.
