The packaging uses BASF's water-based acrylic dispersion Joncryl® HPB product as a barrier material, which is mainly used in Nippon Paint's dry powder mortar products. This is also the first time that BASF's water-based barrier coating products have been used in industrial packaging in China.

Joncryl® HPB series products have excellent vapor barrier and water barrier properties, which can replace the plastics used in traditional packaging, significantly improve the recyclability of paper-based packaging, and realize the innovative application of "paper-based plastic" industrial packaging. The use of Nippon Construction Engineering products is expected to reduce the use of thousands of tons of plastics and recycle nearly 10,000 tons of paper bags every year, effectively saving forest, land, water, electricity and other resources, reducing carbon emissions, promoting a circular economy, and promoting the packaging industry. continuous development.
