Recently, SUPA, which is committed to producing biodegradable products, announced that its eco mate brand has launched the world's first plastic free paper bottle for laundry detergent, according to Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.
According to the observation report of Huacheng import and export data, the bottle is obviously designed for the pain points of existing paper bottles on the market. Among the current innovative paper bottles, whether Paboco, Pulpex or Frugalpac (refer to the detailed introduction of Paper Bottles, the story continues before the release of the paper industry), the inner layer, neck and cap of the paper bottle are still made of plastic.
The inner coating of SUPA paper bottle is made of seaweed and natural plant latex, which can protect the paper from liquid damage. It is reported that these materials are biodegradable and can be injected into paper bottles with biodegradation promoters to promote the degradation process. These design features aim to make paper bottles disposable at the end of their service life in a variety of ways, including shredding for household composting, recycling in existing waste streams or throwing into ordinary dustbins.
According to Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation, SUPA claims that the paper bottle is made of 100% bio based materials tested and certified, and will not be decomposed into micro plastics. SUPA plans to use the same materials to package other products, from pet shampoo to multi surface cleaner, which are also made of plant based materials.
Scott Nicholas, co-founder of SUPA, said: "33% of disposable plastic waste enters our ecosystem every year, and naturally composted paper and biological materials are wise choices."
SUPA is located in Stamford, the United States. It was founded in 2019 with the original intention of developing paper bottles that can hold cleaning liquid and biodegradable liquid for a long time. Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation Report.
