Safe handling and storage methods
Management:
1. Granular polyoxymethylene resin will not self ignite and explode at room temperature, but it belongs to the flammable
substances specified in the Fire Protection Law. If a fire occurs, the fire will spread quickly, so the resin should be far away from
the fire source.
2. Powdered polyoxymethylene resin has the risk of dust explosion. In order to remove static electricity, the dust handling
equipment should be effectively grounded, and inert gases such as nitrogen should be used to prevent dust explosion.
3. Granular polyoxymethylene resin falls on the ground, which will cause slipping, so it should be cleaned immediately.
4. During the molding operation, in order to eliminate the gas generated when the resin is heated and melted, it is necessary
to install effective local exhaust equipment to avoid inhaling the gas from the resin, and at the same time, it is not allowed to
directly contact the high-temperature resin.
5. Avoid high-temperature resin staying in the processing machine for a long time.
6. Avoid mixing and pressing with strong acid, oxidant and PVC.
Storage:
1. Keep away from fire or heat source.
2. Dry and ventilated place.
