Customs data showed that Vietnam's textile, clothing and yarn exports in January fell year-on-year due to the global economic downturn. Vietnam Textile and Clothing Association (VITAS) said that after the Spring Festival, enterprises quickly resumed production, recruited a large number of skilled workers to complete high-quality orders, and increased the use of domestic raw materials to reduce imports. Customs data showed that Vietnam's textile and clothing exports were expected to reach $45-47 billion in 2023, and orders would pick up in the second or third quarter of this year.
