Recently, the China Europe Railway Chang'an (Baoji), loaded with 50 standard containers and a total cargo value of 3 million US dollars, was dispatched from the Yangping Railway Logistics Base in Baoji Port Area. The China Europe Railway Chang'an (Baoji) has achieved normal operation.

Through trains, elevators, fabric, treadmills, glass tableware, protective clothing, and reinforced flooring, "Baoji Manufacturing" will be distributed to cities such as Almaty, Astana, and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

This is an important measure for Xi'an and Baoji to deeply integrate into the overall pattern of jointly building the "the Belt and Road", jointly build a big channel for opening up, and accelerate the formation of a highland for inland reform and opening up.

Baoji and Xi'an will take this opportunity to further deepen regional cooperation and work together to build Baoji Port Area into a sub center for the gathering of China Europe Express (Xi'an). The pace of Baoji's high-level opening up to the outside world is becoming larger and more solid.

Since the beginning of this year, the Baoji Municipal Bureau of Commerce has taken the opportunity to implement the "Three Years" activities in Shaanxi Province and solidly promoted the implementation of various tasks by anchoring the goal of "stabilizing stock, expanding quantity, and improving quality" in foreign trade. Hold two large-scale business training sessions: "2023 Import and Export Policy and International Trade Market Explanation Conference" and "Baoji International Trade Import and Export Risk Management Business Training Conference"; Provide policies, services, and confidence to textile enterprises in Meixian County and automobile parts enterprises in Qishan County; Conduct a "one-on-one" assessment of the situation for leading enterprises such as Dongling Group, Baishi Borui, and Puwo Electronics; Coordinate with the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce to handle the "zero delay" licensing procedures for imported gemstone machinery accessories... In response to the common issues collected during the visit, Baoji City and County will work together and collaborate with departments to solve the bottlenecks one by one, ensuring "professionalism, accuracy, and effectiveness".

From January to April this year, Baoji City achieved a total import and export value of 3.95 billion yuan in international trade, a year-on-year increase of 49.35%. Among them, exports amounted to 2.548 billion yuan, an increase of 96.46%, and imports amounted to 1.401 billion yuan, an increase of 4%.

Next, the Baoji Municipal Bureau of Commerce will continue to accelerate the cultivation of new foreign trade entities, vigorously support new forms and models of international trade, increase the introduction of foreign enterprises, conduct on-site inspections for key regions and enterprises, timely help enterprises solve difficulties, stabilize growth, tap potential, promote transformation, and strive to achieve dual growth in the total import and export volume of international trade and the number of foreign trade enterprises.
