According to statistics from Tianjin Customs, in the first five months of this year, textile and garment exports at Tianjin Port amounted to RMB 21.04 billion, an increase of 70.2% compared to the same period last year.

From the perspective of trade mode, general trade mode exports dominate. In the first five months, Tianjin Port exported 15.64 billion yuan of textile and apparel in general trade, an increase of 43.4%, accounting for 74.3% of the total export value of textile and apparel at Tianjin Port in the same period.

The main export countries and regions are the United States, the European Union and ASEAN. In the first five months, Tianjin Port exported textiles and garments to the United States at 5.51 billion yuan, an increase of 180.3%; the EU was 3.18 billion yuan, an increase of 24.6%; ASEAN was 3.14 billion yuan, an increase of 106.2%, and the three accounted for 56.2%.

Private enterprises are the main export force, accounting for over 80%. In the first five months, private enterprises at Tianjin Port exported 17.19 billion yuan in textiles and garments, an increase of 83.3%, accounting for 81.7%.

It is understood that since the beginning of this year, Tianjin Customs has launched a series of service measures to help the export of textiles and garments at Tianjin Port. It adopts a combination of online and offline methods to actively promote cross-border e-commerce, credit cultivation, origin and other preferential policies, and guide enterprises to Spend full use of customs policies in one time; provide enterprises with “one-to-one butler-style” “tailor-made” services through various methods such as “one-to-one key assistance”, establishment of customs enterprise coordinators, and exclusive liaison officers. , To accurately solve the “pain points” and “difficult points” of enterprises; vigorously promote reform measures such as “direct delivery by ship” and “direct shipment at arrival” to improve customs clearance efficiency and continue to optimize the business environment at ports.
