2021-08-12

Since the beginning of this year, China's home textile exports have maintained rapid growth. Customs data shows that from January to June this year, China's textile exports were US$15.56 billion, an increase of 54% over the same period last year and an increase of 22.4% over the same period in 2019. The export scale reached a record high. At the same time, the export of home textile products accounted for 11% of the total export of textile and apparel products, which was 42 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the overall export of textiles and apparel, effectively stimulating the recovery of the overall export growth of the industry. Among them, the export of curtains, carpets, blankets and other categories maintained rapid growth, with an increase of more than 60%; the export of kitchen supplies and table textiles grew relatively slowly, at 28% to 42%.

At present, the main enterprises remain cautiously optimistic and have not blindly expanded their production capacity. After the global epidemic has stabilized, they will still face the pressure of industrial transfer and outflow of orders.

Among other provinces and cities, Yunnan, Shanxi, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Tibet, and Gansu have experienced rapid growth in exports, all of which are more than doubled.

The online platform will be retained. , Domestically, the Autumn China Import and Export Fair is also preparing to be held online and offline at the same time.
