In recent years, China Ukraine economic and trade cooperation has maintained a good development momentum, the bilateral cooperation mechanism has been improved, the trade scale has been expanded, the investment cooperation has been steadily promoted, and the bilateral economic and trade cooperation has shown great potential. Recently, the China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of textiles, together with the Uzbek Embassy in China and the Uzbek textile and garment industry association, jointly hosted the online "China Uzbekistan textile and garment industry cooperation forum", which provided new ideas for textile and garment enterprises to explore the emerging markets of the "the Belt and Road" and expand yarn import business.

Cao Jiachang, President of China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, said in his speech at the forum that Uzbekistan is one of the main sources of yarn imports in China. In March this year, the chamber of Commerce officially signed a cooperation agreement with Uzbekistan textile and garment industry association, which aims to help the industries of the two countries deepen mutual trust and understanding and promote cooperation between enterprises. The holding of this forum is not only a practical action to promote bilateral investment cooperation, but also a concrete implementation of the agreements signed in the early stage.

At the meeting, the Uzbek ambassador to China fahod arziev expressed the hope that with the influence and resources of the China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of textiles, more Chinese companies would be attracted to invest in Uzbekistan, so as to achieve the development goal of establishing a whole industrial chain in the field of textiles and clothing, promote the deepening of multi-mode bilateral industrial cooperation and achieve win-win development.

During this period, Lin Hua, vice chairman of yarn branch of China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and general manager of Xinjiang company of Shanghai Oriental International Group, analyzed and prospected the current situation and future development of China Uzbekistan yarn trade. Lin Hua introduced that in recent years, under the strategy of "global layout and transnational operation" of Dongfang International, Xinjiang company and Uzbekistan textile enterprises have achieved fruitful results in cooperation. Last year, Xinjiang company further expanded the scale and influence of medium and high-end black yarn, and exported Uzbek cotton yarn to Myanmar, Bangladesh and other markets through the entrepot trade of sea rail intermodal transportation, so that Uzbek SOA yarn not only entered China's high-end market, but also went to the world. This year, Dongfang International Xinjiang company will further deepen cooperation with textile enterprises in Uzbekistan and increase procurement under the condition of mutual benefit. At the same time, we also hope to establish contacts with more excellent textile enterprises in Uzbekistan, jointly build a new "designated SOA cotton yarn processing base" in Uzbekistan, and promote the export of Uzbekistan's textiles to China.

At the forum, China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of textiles and Uzbekistan textile and garment industry association also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the textile industry to further carry out all-round, multi-level and institutionalized bilateral cooperation.
