The "Single Window" website of China's international trade has officially launched the cotton import quota management system. Currently, matters related to the import quota (tariff and sliding tax quota) of international trade in cotton can be handled online through this system.

It is reported that the construction of a "single window" cotton import quota application system is intended for international trade enterprise users to apply to the National Development and Reform Commission and the entrusted institution (provincial development and reform department) for enterprise filing, enterprise filing change, quota application, return application, extension application and related inquiries.

By establishing the cotton import quota application system and relying on the "single window" one point access, the whole process of quota application for international trade enterprises can be handled online. On the premise of meeting the regulatory requirements of the administrative department, it can reduce the time for international trade enterprises to apply for quotas, improve the work efficiency of the approvers, and promote the facilitation of international trade enterprises.
