The light textile clothing industry is the main industry created by Qu County of Dazhou City. Its products are sold to 99 countries and regions, and the import and export volume accounts for more than 80% of the county. With the joint efforts of provinces, cities and counties, Qu County Economic Development Zone was officially rated as a national foreign trade transformation and upgrading base (hereinafter referred to as the base) by the Ministry of Commerce in June 2021. Since the base was listed, it has complied with the international situation, policy trends and industrial trends, seized the opportunity of "the Belt and Road" and the construction of new land and sea channels in the west, and made high-quality plans to build an "international trade port of clothing in western China".

By building an international trade port for clothing, the base will focus on extending, supplementing and strengthening the chain, focusing on breaking through the bottlenecks in the development of industrial chains such as printing and dyeing, washing, brands, and foreign trade, improve the functions of clothing, accessories trading, cross-border live telecast, and express logistics distribution, and create a whole industrial chain system of textile production, cloth printing and dyeing, innovative design, clothing processing, and brand operation, Promote the transformation of light textile clothing industry from traditional manufacturing to service-oriented manufacturing, and strengthen the county's clothing industry ecology; At the same time, by attracting a number of professional large garment foreign trade enterprises and consulting companies, we will use their mature industrial chain, business model and international trade market relations to expand the market, and rely on Alibaba International Station, Amazon, eBay and other cross-border e-commerce platforms to carry out cross-border e-commerce live broadcast, and constantly expand international trade sales channels.

On November 22, the clothing industry investment promotion conference, directed by Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce and hosted by Quxian Foreign Trade Base, was successfully held in Quxian Smart Highway Logistics Port. With the theme of "Going Global with Fashion", the conference proposed the goal of building Quxian County into an "international trade port of clothing and apparel in western China" and made a special presentation, and deeply interpreted the preferential policies for attracting clothing and apparel enterprises. 24 enterprises were signed on site, with a total amount of 22.095 billion yuan.
