Wang Jiayi said that as an important part of the real economy and manufacturing industry, the high quality development of the filament weaving industry is reflected in the dynamic product innovation, the continuous improvement of product quality, the clean and efficient production process, the objective and abundant enterprise benefits, and the continuous improvement of international competitiveness, among which product innovation occupies a fundamental and decisive position. New products present four characteristics

According to the Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation Report, as of December 2022, the filament weaving industry has 43 current national standards, including 37 product standards, accounting for 85% of the total standards. Five measures to promote product innovation

In the past, the filament weaving industry has made good achievements in product research and development, but there is still a long way to go for high-quality development of the industry. To this end, Wang Jiayi put forward five suggestions.

First, formulate precise and clear product positioning and brand positioning. All enterprises that have made outstanding achievements in product innovation have their own product positioning and brand positioning, and the product positioning is precise and clear.

Second, timely extend the construction of internal industrial chain of enterprises. Good filament fabric is the result of improvement and investment in the whole industrial chain from raw material production to final consumption. To extend to the raw material end, enterprises should focus on providing texturing, double twisting, composite and other silk yarn deep processing equipment, or spinning. Extending to the further processing of printing and dyeing finishing, enterprises should provide printing and dyeing finishing equipment according to their own products.

Third, continue to promote the development of high-quality woven fabrics. Multi fiber interwoven fabric is an important direction for innovation and breakthrough of filament fabric. More enterprises should make full use of various fiber raw materials based on chemical filament.

Fourth, increase the development of industrial textiles. Enterprises should focus on increment and quality improvement. In terms of increment, enterprises should actively study the application fields and scenarios of industrial textiles, and accurately develop various industrial textiles according to different uses. In terms of quality improvement, enterprises should speed up the research and development of various high-performance industrial textiles, and promote industrial textiles to play a greater role in aerospace, defense and military industries and other high-end fields.

Fifth, increase the research and development of green low-carbon products. Enterprises should strengthen top-level design, run it through the whole process of products from raw material selection to finished product recycling, and incorporate green products into their strategic planning.
