According to customs data, from January to February 2023, among the main export models of Chinese automobiles, pure electric motor vehicles (excluding passenger cars with 10 seats and above) ranked first in export volume, followed by passenger cars, sedans ranked third, and cargo vehicles ranked fourth. Compared with the same period last year, the four major categories of vehicles showed rapid growth. Customs data shows that pure electric motor vehicles have the most significant growth rate. The export volume of the four major categories mentioned above accounts for 92.3% of the total vehicle export volume.

In addition, according to customs data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to February 2023, China's total vehicle imports decreased by 33.7% year-on-year; The import amount of complete vehicles decreased by 16.3% year-on-year.

According to customs data, from January to February 2023, among the main imported varieties of automobiles in China, sedans, small buses, and off-road vehicles showed a significant decrease compared to the same period last year. The import volume of the three major categories of automotive products mentioned above accounts for 91.3% of the total vehicle import volume.
