According to customs data, Hebei's automobile exports in the first quarter amounted to 7.18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 74%. Among them, the export of electric passenger vehicles is rapid, with export records to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide, with a total export value of 2.23 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.4 times.

Wang Yulan, Director of the Statistics and Analysis Department of Shijiazhuang Customs, said that since the beginning of this year, China's economy has shown a trend of stabilization and recovery, with production and demand gradually improving, promoting a significant stabilization of foreign trade imports and exports. According to customs data, in the first quarter of this year, the total import and export value of foreign trade in Hebei Province was 143.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%, with a growth rate of 12.2 percentage points higher than the national average. Among them, exports amounted to 87.91 billion yuan and imports amounted to 55.17 billion yuan.

In terms of trading partners, customs data shows that in the first quarter of this year, Hebei's import and export trade with the United States ranked first, reaching 19.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%. Import and export to ASEAN reached 18.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.2%. Import and export to the European Union reached 14.72 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.1%. In addition, according to customs data, the import and export to countries and regions along the "the Belt and Road" was 52.44 billion yuan, up 25.3% year on year, accounting for 36.7% of the total import and export value.

At the same time, Shijiazhuang Customs continuously serves enterprises to rely on China Europe freight trains to carry out "multimodal transportation" business and improve the level of freight train consolidation. According to customs data, in the first quarter of this year, the operating enterprises of China Europe freight trains in the province organized 156 inbound and outbound freight trains, carrying 16000 TEUs of goods, with year-on-year growth of 66% and 75%, respectively.
