In April, China's automobile production and sales increased rapidly year-on-year, and international automobile trade exports continued to maintain a good trend! According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on May 11th, the production and sales of China's automobile market increased rapidly year-on-year in April. Among them, the production and sales of new energy vehicles and the international trade and export of automobiles continue to maintain a good trend.

In April, China's automobile production and sales reached 2.133 million and 2.159 million units, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 76.8% and 82.7%. Among them, the production and sales of passenger cars reached 1.778 million and 1.811 million, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 78.5% and 87.7%. Among them, new energy vehicles continue to perform well and their market share has steadily increased. In April, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 640000 and 636000 units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times, and the market share reached 29.5%. In terms of international automobile trade exports, 376000 vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 1.7 times. Among them, 100000 new energy vehicles were exported in international trade, an increase of 8.4 times year-on-year.

The relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that China's economic operation has shown a restorative improvement, and the task of stabilizing the growth of the automobile industry is still relatively heavy. Effective policies to stabilize and expand automobile consumption are needed to continue to boost, fully promote the release of automobile consumption potential, and promote the stable operation of the automobile industry.
