On June 10th, the first "Silk Road Maritime Transport" e-commerce express line in China celebrated its first anniversary of official opening. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, since its opening one year ago, the container throughput of this route has been nearly 30000 TEUs, with a total value of over 10.3 billion yuan. Among them, 39000 cross-border e-commerce goods are exported, with a value of about 350 million yuan, mainly including luggage, shoes and clothing, daily necessities, fitness equipment, and other goods.

It is understood that the "Silk Road Maritime" e-commerce express line directly connects Port of Xiamen to Manila Port in the Philippines, helping domestic e-commerce goods to reach Manila Port in two days, which greatly meets the international trade import and export needs of e-commerce goods with small batch size, large batch size and strong timeliness, and is favored by cross-border e-commerce enterprises.

Benefiting from the driving effect of cross-border e-commerce business and the recovery of Southeast Asian consumer markets, Filipino consumers are increasingly demanding products such as bags, shoes and clothing, building materials, and masks produced in Fujian. The international trade export volume of this route is gradually increasing, "said Chen Huaquan, the head of the Bonded Supervision Department of Dongdu Customs under Xiamen Customs. In order to support the efficient operation of the route, the customs has added a new cross-border e-commerce supervision center, Convenient measures such as "list verification, summary and statistics" are applied to eligible international trade export goods to assist international trade enterprises in enjoying comprehensive "one-stop" services such as warehousing, logistics, and customs clearance.

Fan Xiehui, the marketing manager of Haifeng Jiyun Xiamen Branch, an e-commerce express line operator of the "Silk Road Maritime Transport", said that after a year of operation, the integrated services of shipping, port, and logistics resources in the maritime e-commerce business have reached maturity. Next, the company plans to start from the Philippines and radiate to other Southeast Asian countries, and replicate and promote this model to the regions along the "Silk Road Maritime Transport", forming a large-scale and standardized maritime e-commerce network to promote the development of international trade.
