According to a report from Manzhouli Daily on the 18th, Manzhouli Customs statistics show that in the first four months of this year, Manzhouli Port exported a total of 628 vehicles, an increase of 163.9% over the same period last year; the value was 340 million yuan, an increase of 158.7%. Among them, the port exported 358 cars in April, an increase of 20.1 times; the value of 180 million yuan, an increase of 23.6 times, and all exported to Russia.
Specifically, in April this year, the automobile exports at Manzhouli Port were dominated by general trade. 248 vehicles were exported, an increase of 14.5 times, accounting for 69.3% of the total automobile exports at the port during the same period; state-owned enterprises were the largest exporters, exporting 154 vehicles. An increase of 9.27 times, accounting for 43%; foreign-invested enterprises exported 75 vehicles, a surge of 36.5 times, accounting for 20.9%. Trucks and special vehicles were the main exporters, exporting 155 and 117 vehicles, respectively, an increase of 10.9 times and a surge of 116 times, respectively. Accounted for 43.3% and 32.7%.
It is understood that the demand from the Russian auto market, the deep cultivation of the Russian market by Chinese car companies, and the continued steady improvement in Sino-Russian bilateral trade between Canada and Russia are the main reasons for the increase in auto exports at the Manzhouli port in April.
