2021-07-13

The National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee announced on the 7th that my country has completed the construction of the first phase of the standard system for intelligent networked vehicles.

The National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee is subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Standardization Management Committee. The construction of the intelligent networked vehicle standard system includes more than 70 national standards and research projects. The first phase of the standard system issued 6 national standards for advanced driver assistance systems, blind spot monitoring systems, and 12 national standards including automotive driving automation classification.

Experts pointed out that the smooth realization of the first phase of my country's intelligent networked vehicle construction goals indicates that my country has basically formed an intelligent networked vehicle standard system that can support driver assistance and low-level autonomous driving.

An Tiecheng, Chairman of China Automotive Technology Research Center: It is the first in the world to release the construction plan of the intelligent networked vehicle standard system, promote the integrated and innovative development of related industries, and support the intelligent networked vehicle road test, etc., have played an important technical foundation and guarantee role .

Experts pointed out that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, my country will further optimize and improve the standard system for intelligent networked vehicles and accelerate the construction of a standard system for high-level autonomous driving. On the 7th, the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee also held the first Intelligent Connected Vehicle Standardization Achievement Exhibition in Cangzhou, Hebei, which showcased nearly 100 international, national, industry, and group standards for intelligent connected vehicles.
