At 18:00 on October 6, a China-Europe Express train loaded with electronic products, clothing and department stores, office supplies and other goods departed from Xinjiang Alashankou Station to Duisburg, Germany. Since the beginning of this year, the number of inbound and outbound China-Europe freight trains at Alashankou Port has reached 4,510, a year-on-year increase of 22.32%, and it exceeded 4,500 nearly two months earlier than last year.

According to the statistics of the railway department, since 2011, the Alashankou Port first passed the China-Europe Express Train, the cumulative number of trains passing through the Alashankou Port has reached 21,000. The China-Europe Express has its unique advantages to drive domestic companies to the "Belt and Road" countries. The growth of trade in China has opened up a new path.

In order to serve the efficient operation of China-Europe freight trains, Alashankou Customs, affiliated to Urumqi Customs, actively implements various measures to support the development of China-Europe freight trains, implements 24-hour customs clearance for China-Europe freight trains, implements simplified declarations, simplified approvals, simplified procedures, and consolidated declarations. Measures: Jointly promote the "digital port" system with the railway department, smooth customs, border inspections, and railway coordination and governance, and provide "one-stop" services for the customs clearance of China-Europe express trains; promote the railway rapid customs clearance mode, and reduce the overall customs clearance time per train on average More than 4 hours.

"At present, the total number of train lines passing through the Alashankou Port has reached 59, reaching Germany, Poland, Russia and other countries, becoming an important supply chain for stabilizing the industries of countries and regions along the'Belt and Road'." Alashankou Customs Supervision II Said Xu Yueheng, deputy section chief.

"Since this year, China-Europe (Central Asia) trains at Alashankou Port have maintained a strong growth trend. Among them, the rapid increase in the number of return trains has become a new feature of the development of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains entering and leaving China this year." China Railway Urumqi Pang Jianwei, deputy director of the operation workshop of the Alashankou Station of the Bureau Group Co., Ltd. said, "This year’s entry of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains has increased by 35.8% compared with last year. The average daily train access reached 7 trains, 2 more than last year. It is a compressed train. For train reloading and stay time, the station will keep track of the number of inbound trains, customs clearance and other information, and reasonably arrange vehicle pickup and delivery, cargo loading and unloading, and train marshalling to ensure that inbound goods are shipped to all parts of the country as soon as possible."

In order to ensure that China-Europe freight trains can efficiently clear customs under the substantial increase in the number of traffic, Alashankou will strengthen communication and coordination with the railway, customs, border inspection and other departments of Kazakhstan on the basis of implementing internal potential and improving efficiency, and solve the problem of the joint. Optimize the customs clearance process to enable fast reloading, marshalling and shipping of trains at ports to ensure the stability of the international industrial chain supply chain and promote the domestic and international double cycle.

At present, the cargoes carried by the inbound and outbound trains at Alashankou Port are mainly 9 categories such as communication equipment, computers and accessories, automobiles and spare parts, and the main imported cargoes are 12 categories such as food, medicine and milk powder. A wide variety of import and export commodities cover all aspects of clothing, food, housing, and transportation, constantly ensuring the stability of the international industrial chain supply chain, and providing strong support for promoting the domestic and international dual cycle.
