On the 30th, the cargo charter flight from Kashgar, Xinjiang, China to Lahore, Pakistan successfully set sail. This is another international cargo route that has been opened since January this year to Islamabad, Pakistan, Budapest, Hungary and Liege, Belgium.

The reporter learned from Kashgar Customs that in recent years, Xinjiang has continued to promote the construction, reconstruction and expansion of the airport, continuously weaving the air route network, improving the airport facilities, accelerating the pace of opening to the outside world, and striving to build an aviation hub in northwest China. At present, the routes from Kashgar to Islamabad and Liege have achieved normal operation with three flights per week.

Bai Zhaoping, head of Xinjiang Jiaotongjian Logistics Co., Ltd., introduced that Kashgar is China's gateway to Central Asia and South Asia. Its good location conditions not only save the logistics cost of enterprises, but also effectively guarantee the delivery time of goods, which brings convenience to foreign trade enterprises.

Wang Chuanjie, head of Kashgar Customs, said that the customs department will follow up and understand the logistics needs of enterprises in a timely manner, provide convenient customs clearance services, and speed up customs clearance of flights. The development pattern of co-existence of various trade modes and the participation of many enterprises stimulates the vitality of the air port and helps the local area to build a highland for opening up to the outside world.

Kashgar Airport is the second largest international airport in Xinjiang, and it is an international aviation logistics center in southern Xinjiang that was built during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period of Xinjiang Civil Aviation.
