On May 23, the international railway train of China Myanmar new channel (Chongqing Lincang Myanmar) started at Yuzui station of guoyuangang, marking the official opening of China Myanmar new channel (Chongqing Lincang Myanmar).
The train carried 60 TEUs, including mechanical equipment, electronic parts, auto parts and other goods, leaving the country through Lincang port in Yunnan, and finally arrived in Mandalay, Myanmar, 15 days later.
The China Myanmar new channel has opened up another sea logistics path of the new land and sea channel in the west by means of highway and railway combined transport. Relying on the China Myanmar new channel, Chongqing's local and surrounding export goods can be connected to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South Asian countries through Myanmar, and the transportation distance and transportation time can be greatly shortened. It is estimated that the logistics time between Chongqing and Myanmar can be saved by 20 days and the logistics cost can be reduced by 20% compared with the traditional route.
