The "China Europe Train Shanghai" was launched on September 28, 2021. The first train started from Shanghai, China, and headed for Hamburg, Germany, carrying 50 containers containing clothing, shoes and hats, glassware, auto parts, precision instruments and other goods.

"China Europe Express Shanghai" is operated by Shanghai Oriental Silk Road multimodal transport Co., Ltd. It is reported that since its launch, the "China Europe Train Shanghai" has run 25 trains (including import and export).
