It is reported that relying on the electronic release of imported container ports based on blockchain, the average processing time of port and shipping documents for major imported e-commerce goods can be reduced from 2 days to less than 4 hours. At present, 8 ports including Shanghai, Ningbo and Zhoushan have taken the lead in the country in this regard. Port and shipping services are an important part of the foreign trade logistics industry, and also an important support for serving the internal and external circulation of the economy and promoting the stability of the industrial chain and supply chain. According to statistics, in May, the national key monitoring ports completed a cargo throughput of 1.03 billion tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.7%, but an average daily increase of 3.2%; the completed container throughput was 23.08 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, and a daily average increase of 4.4%. %; 11 international hub seaports completed a container throughput of 17.76 million TEUs, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year and an average daily increase of 3.9% month-on-month.

Affected by factors such as the epidemic, Shanghai Port completed a container throughput of 3,409,600 TEUs in May, a year-on-year decrease of 10%, but an average daily increase of 7% month-on-month, showing a recovery growth trend.
