Shandong Port Group (referred to as "Shandong Port") container "seven lines and one train" centralized opening ceremony was held in Qingdao on August 8. At the ceremony, 5 routes from Shandong to Southeast Asia and other "Belt and Road" and "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership" (RCEP) routes and 2 North-South ocean routes were officially opened. At the same time, the "Shandong Port Qingdao Port - Suifenhe" container sea-rail intermodal train was also officially opened on the same day. This move by Shandong Port fully utilizes the role of the hub platform and the density of advantageous route groups, comprehensively expands the layout of Shandong Port’s international container routes, and strongly guarantees the smooth and stable supply chain of the global industrial chain.

According to reports, the five "Belt and Road" and RCEP routes direct to Southeast Asia are CMA CGM/Taiping/Honghai Taiyue Line, Mediterranean Shipping Line in Southeast Asia, SITC Shipping Line in Haiphong, Zhonggu Shipping Line in Southeast Asia and Changjin/Xingya Far East Line . The new route focuses on serving RCEP member countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, and builds a low-cost and high-efficiency maritime logistics channel for imported fruits, chilled food and other cold chain living materials from Southeast Asia to connect with Shandong ports.

In addition, Shandong Port has opened two ocean-going trunk lines from Taiping/Wanhai/Yangming and China United Shipping to North and South America to continuously deliver traditional advantageous export goods such as household fast-moving consumer goods, chemical products, and mechanical and electrical products to American countries, accelerating the realization of Shandong Port from " The transformation and upgrading of "the port of production means" to "the port of production and living means".

Qingdao is the departure port, and it goes directly to the Gloria Port of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam and the Laem Chabang Port in Thailand. The arrival time 6 days and 8 days respectively, arriving at least two days earlier than other routes in the market.

"The three routes opened by Shandong Port Group Qingdao Port to Laem Chabang Port in Thailand have greatly increased the commodity transportation channels on the basis of the original routes.
