The New Western Land-Sea Corridor is a new international trade channel created by the cooperation between the western provinces of my country and ASEAN countries. The time required to go to sea via the eastern region has been greatly shortened.

According to the relevant person in charge of Luhai New Channel Operation Co., Ltd., the 20,000th rail-sea intermodal train, carrying a total of 108 containers, was dispatched from Qinzhou Port Station in Guangxi on August 29 and arrived at Tuanjie Village Station in Chongqing at 7:00 on the 31st.

According to the data of the Logistics and Operation Organization Center of the New Western Land-Sea Channel, on April 28, 2017, the "Chongqing-Gui-Xin" rail-sea intermodal train (Qinzhou Port-Chongqing) was tested and opened, and 178 trains were completed in that year and 1154 in 2018. In 2019, 2,243 columns were completed. By April 28, 2021, a total of 10,000 columns were completed. It took 1,461 days to complete the "first 10,000 columns" and only 487 days to complete the "second 10,000 columns".

In the past five years, the new western land-sea channel has achieved rapid development. The inter-provincial joint meeting has been established at the national level, and the 12 western provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have established a "13+2" cooperation mechanism with Hainan Province, as well as Zhanjiang City in Guangdong and Huaihua City in Hunan. , 3 main lines in China and West, and 3 logistics forms of rail-sea combined trains, international railway trains, and cross-border highway shuttles. The destination of the channel has been expanded to 335 ports in 113 countries and regions; the transportation category is from the original ceramics There are more than 50 kinds of products such as auto parts, computer parts, and new energy vehicles, etc., which have brought great convenience to international trade enterprises.
