Recently, the first "Xi'an-Hanoi" China-Vietnam international freight train arrived at the Pingxiang railway port in Guangxi from Xi'an, bringing convenience to international trade enterprises. The train loaded a total of 41 vehicles of asbestos imported from Kazakhstan by the China-Europe return train. After arriving at the Xi'an International Railway Port, after going through customs transfer procedures, it was sent to Vietnam as the new "Xi'an-Hanoi" China-Vietnam train.

On August 27, under the supervision of Pingxiang Customs, the train successfully left the country and sailed to Hanoi, Vietnam after completing the customs procedures, marking the first time that the China-Europe return train and the China-Vietnam international freight train have achieved seamless connection.

Li Jinhua, customs declaration manager of Guangxi Express International Logistics Co., Ltd., said: "The problem of supply of goods for the return journey of China-Europe trains has always plagued enterprises. Now, after the seamless connection of China-Vietnam trains, the return trains can not only carry the goods needed in my country, but also carry goods. The goods shipped to Southeast Asia and other countries save costs, and the transportation time is shortened by more than half compared to shipping to Southeast Asia, which solves the problems of international trade enterprises.”

Xue Yuncheng, Deputy Chief of the Supervision Section of Pingxiang Customs, introduced that in order to ensure the operation of trains, Pingxiang Customs actively provides supervision and services, and implements "railway express" and "integration", customs transit and local declaration. Cross-border trains operate efficiently.

According to reports, from January to July this year, Pingxiang Customs has supervised a total of 1,536 China-Vietnam trains, a year-on-year increase of 49.7%; in the first seven months, Pingxiang Railway Port has supervised a total of 492,000 tons of imported and exported goods, an increase of 79.5% over the same period last year.

Pingxiang Customs said that the opening of the China-Vietnam International Freight Train (Xi'an-Hanoi) will add a new route to connect Eurasian and Southeast Asian trade through the Pingxiang railway port, further smoothing the international trade logistics channel from mainland China to ASEAN. , to open up a new safe and fast international trade logistics channel for European and Central Asian goods sent to ASEAN countries by rail, providing strong support for the stability of the international trade supply chain.
