China Europe Express is becoming a "green channel" for the supply of new energy vehicles to the international trade market. It is understood that after the first special train for new energy vehicles was launched in September, the China Europe Express Chang'an successfully carried new energy vehicles of BYD, Volkswagen, Weilai, Toyota, Xiaopeng and other brands.

Open up convenient and efficient international logistics channels

On September 29, the China Europe Express Chang'an, loaded with new energy vehicles, left Xi'an International Port Station and headed for Europe. This is the first time since the opening of the China Europe train to load Xi'an made new energy vehicles for export to Europe.

Previously, on September 17, China Railway Group officially announced that there were no restrictions on the transportation of new energy vehicles, whether JSQ type vehicles (railway freight vehicles specially used to transport complete vehicles) or containers, whether domestic or international through transport. Shao Boer, general manager of Xi'an International Inland Port Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd., said that the decision responded to the warm expectations of the market in the past two years.

On October 15, the China Europe Express Chang'an arrived at Duisburg Station in Germany. On October 24, the first batch of Smart Smart # 1 cars completed all customs clearance procedures and waited for delivery to customers. This China Europe train lasts 16 days from Xi'an to Duisburg, Germany, effectively ensuring the timely supply of Chinese new energy vehicles to the European market.

China's new energy vehicles continue to expand overseas

In recent years, China's new energy vehicle industry has entered the "fast lane", providing diversified options for the international trade market through continuous overseas cultivation and continuous variety enrichment.

In May 2021, BYD officially announced the plan of "passenger cars going to sea", taking Norway as the first pilot market to develop overseas passenger car business. After more than a year of development, BYD's new energy passenger vehicles have now entered Japan, Germany, Australia, Brazil and other countries, covering more than 30 countries and regions around the world.

According to BYD Group, from July to October this year, the monthly export volume of BYD's new energy vehicles gradually increased - 4026 in July, 5092 in August, 7736 in September and 9529 in October. Aiming at "leading technology, leading quality and leading market", BYD Group has accelerated its overseas layout of new energy passenger vehicles.

According to the staff of BYD Group, by the end of 2021, BYD will successfully deliver 1500 TangEV models to Norway, which is an important step in the overseas market. In February this year, BYD PLUS (locally known as BYD ATTO 3) models opened pre-sales in the Australian market. As BYD's first global model, YUAN PLUS has been listed in Singapore, Costa Rica, Thailand, India and other countries. In addition, BYD Han EV has officially entered the Brazilian market after entering Colombia, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and other Latin American countries and regions.

At present, BYD plug-in hybrid vehicles have also made significant progress in going to sea. Qin PLUS DM-i and Song PLUS DM-i have won batch orders for the first time and went to Colombia. In July this year, BYD's Yuan PLUS, Dolphin and Seal models officially entered the Japanese market; In September, the first overseas passenger vehicle factory invested and built by BYD officially landed in Thailand; In October, BYD's Tang EV, Han EV and Yuan PLUS models appeared at the Paris Auto Show. BYD's international trade market has been further expanded, and its product layout has been gradually improved to meet the needs of the global market for diversified products from different regions.

The number of trains, the rate of heavy containers, the volume of freight and other core indicators rank among the top in the country, basically covering the main sources of goods in Central Asia, South Asia, West Asia and Europe.
