The "speed up" international trade channel of the China-EU train is smoother! On December 8, with the sound of a siren, under the on-site supervision of the customs officers of the Guangzhou station affiliated to Guangzhou Customs, the X8186 train loaded with air conditioners, washing machines, microwave ovens, electronic products and other "manufactured in the Greater Bay Area" goods departed from the Guangzhou International Port Station, which was the 311st China-Europe train supervised by Guangzhou Customs in 2022. Since the first China-Europe train opened in August 2016, the number of annual supervised trains of Guangzhou Customs has exceeded 300 for the first time.
In order to support the high-quality development of China-Europe trains, Guangzhou Customs actively implemented the ten measures of the General Administration of Customs to support the development of China-Europe trains, set up a special work team, establish a cross-customs clearance coordination mechanism, actively meet the needs of international trade enterprises, accurately provide service guarantees such as "multimodal transport customs transfer", "rapid customs clearance" and "booking customs clearance", and support the consolidation of manifests to reduce the number of customs declarations and reduce the cost of customs declaration, Implement fast inspection and release modes such as "the consignee and consignor are exempt from on-site assistance in inspection", and make every effort to promote the convenient and rapid development of customs clearance of China-EU trains.
After the official operation of Guangzhou International Port Station and Nansha Port South Station in 2022, plus the original Guangzhou Dalang Station, the layout of three China-Europe train stations has been formed in the customs area of Guangzhou. At present, the China-Europe train lines supervised by Guangzhou Customs have reached 15 regular fixed lines of "11 out and 4 in", which directly connect to more than 30 cities in more than 20 countries and regions such as Western Europe, Eastern Europe, West Asia, Central Asia and Southeast Asia.
According to statistics, from January to November 2022, Guangzhou Customs supervised the operation of 302 international trade import and export trains, 26894 standard containers, 159700 tons of cargo, and 6.892 billion yuan of cargo value, with year-on-year growth of 153.78%, 126.61%, 157.45%, and 93.89% respectively, providing a stable international trade logistics channel for more than 2000 international trade enterprises.
