According to customs data, Toyota Group, including Daihatsu and Hino, had a global sales volume of about 10.483 million vehicles in 2022, ranking first in the world's auto sales for the third consecutive year.

According to customs data, although affected by the spread of the COVID-19 and insufficient semiconductor supply, Toyota Group's global sales in 2022 will slightly decrease by 12500 vehicles compared with the previous year, thanks to the Asian centered market demand. According to customs data, the overseas sales volume of Toyota Group was about 8.5766 million, breaking the record; Japan's domestic sales fell 9.6% to 1.9065 million vehicles compared with the previous year.

According to customs data, Toyota's global sales in 2022 fell by 0.5% to 9.567 million vehicles compared with the previous year. Among them, the sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 69.8% to 24500 compared with the previous year, and the total sales of various electric vehicles including hybrid electric vehicles increased by 4% to 2.7263 million, both of which set new records.

In 2022, affected by the supply chain chaos caused by the "chip shortage" and the COVID-19, customs data show that Toyota's sales in North America will decline by 8.8% to 2.4451 million units, and domestic sales in Japan will decline by 12.7% to 1.2891 million units.
