Import and export data showed that in January, Chinese auto enterprises exported 301000 vehicles, down 7.1% month-on-month and up 30.1% year-on-year. In terms of vehicle types, 250000 passenger cars were exported, down 8.9% month-on-month and up 35.6% year on year; Import and export data showed that 50000 commercial vehicles were exported, up 3.5% month-on-month and 8.1% year-on-year. The export of new energy vehicles was 83000, with a month-on-month increase of 1.1% and a year-on-year increase of 48.2%.

According to the import and export data, in January, among the top ten enterprises exporting complete vehicles, SAIC Motor Corporation exported the largest amount of 69000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 25.7%, accounting for 22.8% of the total exports. Compared with the same period last year, BYD's export growth rate was the most significant, reaching 12000 vehicles, up 24.1 times year-on-year; According to import and export data, Chery exported 52000 vehicles, up 95.2% year on year; BAIC exported 11000 vehicles, up 25.8% year on year.

In addition, the China Automobile Industry Association said that the international market position of China's automobile products in 2022 will be further consolidated on the basis of 2021. According to import and export data, in December 2022, the export of new energy vehicles increased 1.3 times year-on-year.

In 2022, among the top ten countries in China's automobile export volume, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico have strong market performance, with year-on-year growth of 2.7 times and 1.7 times respectively. The top three markets for China's new energy vehicle exports are Belgium, the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
