Cable Insulation Water Blocking Tape

Insulated water blocking tape is mainly used to block water from entering the interior of the cable, thereby protecting the cable from moisture erosion. It is composed of two layers of non-woven fabric with water blocking powder added between them, as well as an appropriate amount of tackifier and tear resistant agent. It is generally used for blocking water in the protective layer of high-voltage cables and the armor layer of aluminum corrugated pipes, and can also be used for filling control cables.
