Properties: blue transparent crystal. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in dilute ethanol but insoluble in anhydrous ethanol. In the air for a long time, it will gradually lose the crystal water and become white.

Soluble in water, alcohol, ammonium chloride, methanol, slightly soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, ether, aqueous solution is acidic.
Application: Used as mordant, catalyst, oxidant, wood preservative, food additive, disinfectant, etc., also used for deodorization and desulfurization of petroleum distillate, metal extraction, photography, etc.
