Short-fiber geotextile
Short-fiber geotextile
Overview: It is produced mainly from polypropylene or polyester short fibers through processes such as carding, combing, blending, laying of mesh, needle-punching, and spraying of water-repellent agents.
Properties: It has excellent water permeability, filtration performance, soil retention ability, and can play the roles of isolation, drainage, filtration, and protection; it is resistant to acid and alkali, aging, corrosion, microorganisms, and has a long service life; it has low cost and favorable price; the construction is simple and the use is convenient.
Applications: Water conservancy projects, dams, roads, airports, buildings, etc. Notes for Attention
1. Geotextile can only be cut using a geotextile cutter (hook knife). If cutting is done on-site, special protective measures must be taken for other materials to prevent unnecessary damage to the geotextile during the cutting process.
2. When laying the geotextile, all necessary measures must be taken to prevent damage to the underlying layer of materials.
3. When laying the geotextile, be careful not to allow stones, large amounts of dust or water, etc., which may damage the geotextile, block the drainage channels or filter nets, or cause difficulties in the subsequent connection, to enter the geotextile or beneath it.
4. After installation, visually inspect all the surfaces of the geotextile to identify all damaged areas, mark them, and repair them. Ensure that the laying surface has no foreign substances that may cause damage, such as broken needles or other debris. -
Woven geotextile
Product characteristics of woven geotextile:
1. High strength: Due to the use of plastic flat wires, it can maintain sufficient strength and elongation both in dry and wet conditions.
2. Corrosion resistance: It can resist corrosion in different soil and water conditions for a long time.
3. Good water permeability: There are gaps between the flat wires, thus having excellent water permeability.
4. Good anti-microbial property: It is not damaged by microorganisms or insect damage.
5. Convenient construction: Due to its light weight and flexibility, transportation, laying and construction are convenient. Main purpose
It is widely used in projects such as water conservancy, power, harbors, highways, and railways. -
Composite geotextile membrane
This product is made by heat-combining long-fiber geotextile or short-fiber geotextile with PE geotextile. It has excellent characteristics of surface drainage and anti-seepage. The composite geotextile is divided into one fabric-one membrane and two fabrics-one membrane types. The width is 4-7 meters, and the weight is 200-1500 grams per square meter. Its physical and mechanical performance indicators such as tensile strength, tear resistance, and bursting strength are high. The product has high strength, good elongation performance, large deformation modulus, resistance to acid and alkali and corrosion, resistance to aging, and excellent anti-seepage performance. It can meet the needs of civil engineering in water conservancy, municipal engineering, construction, transportation, subway, tunnel, and engineering construction for anti-seepage, isolation, reinforcement, crack prevention and reinforcement, etc. Due to the use of high molecular materials and the addition of anti-aging agents in the production process, it can be used in non-standard temperature environments. It is commonly used for anti-seepage treatment of dams and drainage ditches, as well as anti-pollution treatment of waste sites.
